Saudi Arabian court sentences a man to 10 years in jail, £4k fine and 2,000 lashes for tweeting that he was an atheist

In Saudi Arabia there's a law that places atheists and atheistic beliefs as 'terrorism', hence a man who tweeted that he was an atheist has been fined £4,000 and sentenced to 10 years in jail with 2000 lashes of the cane by a high court in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia's Islamic police found over 600 tweets by the 28 year old man denying the existence of God, ridiculing Koranic verses, accusing all prophets of lies and saying their teaching fueled hostilities, and after the Islamic court gave him all this punishments the man has refused to 'repent' saying he only aired his beliefs and he still stands by them.
In 2014 the late King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia issued royal decrees aimed at clamping down on all forms of political dissent and protests that could “harm public order”.
One of the articles of the decrees defined terrorism as “calling for atheist thought in any form, or calling into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion on which this country is based”.
Joe Stork, deputy Middle East and North Africa director of Human Rights Watch, said  “Saudi authorities have never tolerated criticism of their policies, but these recent laws and regulations turn almost any critical expression or independent association into crimes of terrorism.”

SHOCKING: We Will Protest Naked To Summon Wrath Of gods On Buhari – A’Ibom Women Vowed

ollowing the destruction caused by a gas pipeline blown up by the Niger Delta Avengers, women of Obotim Nsit community, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa-Ibom State have vowed to protest naked to summon the wrath of the gods on the Muhammadu Buhari led-government and the gas company whose pipeline was blown up.
They claimed that the explosion caused extensive damage to all the houses in the village besides ruining their farmlands and other means of livelihood.
They lamented that the Gas company just evacuated their equipment from the site without paying attention to the members of the affected community.
Women Leader of the community, Mrs. Dorothy Nkanta, said: “Unfortunately, Seven Energy came and evacuated their equipment from the site not minding the losses the community have recorded.
“That means that they do not care about the disaster they have brought to us after taking our land to lay their pipeline and locate their control valve. They are not bothered about the health hazards and general calamity the emissions from their pipeline have brought to our land.

What have they said is our offence for giving our land out for them to do business? Is this the kind of reward we should receive from government and the gas company for the good thing we did for them?
“But I want to warn that they should not provoke us to go naked on the streets for them else, it will not be well with them.
“We need compensation for the losses we have recorded as a result of that gas pipeline explosion and for the degradation of our land since that gas pipeline control valve was installed at the Asang Community High School, else, we will go naked on the streets to provoke the gods of our land to action against these people, who have suddenly turned our enemies.”

An Urhobo militant group known as the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Movement, NDGJM, has blown up the Ogor-Oteri major delivery line operated by the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company and Shorelines Petroleum in the state.

The group in a statement released and signed by its leader, “Gen” Aldo Agbalaja, said they carried out the attack on the oil facility at about 3am.

The group said they will also be launching “Operation Crocodile Tears” since the military had launched “Operation Crocodile Smile” to supposedly worsen the Niger Delta crisis. Read part of their statement below...

“Recent developments around our region, especially as it concerns the issue of justice and our inalienable right to protect our heritage, have proven us right all along. Now it has become clearer who is serious about getting justice for our people and who has been using the name of the region and the destinies of all our peoples to feather their nests, raising dusts merely to harass the Nigerian state and the oil multinationals into parting with money. Although some selfish machinery, merely put together to achieve some pecuniary ends, has been parading in the name of the peoples of the Niger Delta, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate will not be derailed on its mission to getting justice for the people. When lines are blurred, justice is most likely to be miscarried. If there shall be a negotiation, it must be seen and indeed, must be in actual sense, be representing all the individual nations of the region equally. The drama that trailed the visit of some Ijaw royal fathers to the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, in Abuja recently is more reason why equity must be a factor in setting up a body that will dialogue on behalf of all the peoples of the Niger Delta.” “If the said leader could not respect the royal fathers of his ethnic nation, if he is lording his will over them, what chance do other nations have, which do not have adequate representation? That said, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate will no longer sit quietly watching the endless harassment of our people in various parts of the region by the Nigerian military. We had once warned against the victimization and harassment of defenseless people of the region, especially in the creeks, but rather than heed, the Nigerian military has increased its presence and made life more difficult for our people. They are now killing our people on the basis of mere suspicion, this cannot continue. With the launch of their ‘Operation Crocodile Smile’, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate is also serving a notice on the commencement of our ‘Operation Crocodile Tears.’ It shall from now on be an eye for an eye; for every military atrocity carried out in the creeks and hinterland of the Niger Delta, the Nigerian armed forces will have the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate to contend with. To this end, we are alerting all those working in the UQCC/UPS Erhomukokwarien in Ughelli, Eriemu Pigging Manifold in Agbarha, Otorogun Gas Plant, Olomoro Flow Station, Warri Refinery, Port Harcourt Refinery, Eleme, OB-OB and Obite gas plants in Omoku to evacuate because what is coming to those facilities are beyond what anybody has seen before. We do not want innocent blood being spilled, therefore, we advise all indigenes living in the vicinities of the facilities to relocate for the time being. The world should, however, note that the bloodbath that is about to commence in our already beaten, battered, squeezed and impoverished homeland, the Niger Delta. It is all the baby of the Nigerian government; they are the people, who are in one breath preaching resolution through dialogue and also breathing bullets and bombs on a troubled, but trusting people. “Hold the Nigerian President responsible for the genocide that his armed forces is about to unleash on our people,”the statement read

Couple caught having sex in a field by siblings carry on sex act despite a watching crowd (photos)

Lauren Dua, 24, took her brother Lewis Overell, 20, and 14-year-old sister Libby to play popular game, Pokemon Go, at Blackheath Common in South London but were met with the 'rudest' shock of their lives as they stumbled on a man having sex with a completely naked woman on the lawn. And despite being aware that they were being watched, the couple continued the lewd act regardless.

Lauren said:
“We were just walking across Blackheath Common when my brother said ‘Is that women naked over there?’ and I thought he was joking but then my sister said the same thing. So I went over to have a look and could not believe that they were right and by that point a few people had gathered around still playing Pokemon and they were putting on quite a show. The couple really did not seem to be bothered at all that everyone was stood around watching them.”
Lauren, a beauty therapist insists the night was one of the ‘weirdest ever’ and posted her shocking snaps on snapchat where they were shared more than 2,500 times before they were deleted.

Lauren continued:
“I couldn’t believe it was real life – I only went out to catch a Charmander – so it was a pretty weird night in the end. They could have found a bush or something to cover up because it is a built-up area and there were plenty of people about. My sister said it was the funniest thing ever but I could not believe that it was happening. We often go out at that time around there for a Pokemon hunt but I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

Britain's youngest rapist: 11 year old boy sentenced for raping his younger sister and ejaculating in shocking court case

An 11 year old boy, now 12, was sentenced last week after being convicted of raping his younger sister on February 26 and March 8 this year.

According to court documents, the boy who can't be named for legal reasons, was said to have ejaculated at least once during the sexual assaults and is now officially Britain's youngest rapist.

The boy, who is from Plymouth in Devon but now lives in Cornwall, was found with disturbing images on his mobile phone following the sexual assaults.

He was sentenced to a 12-month intensive referral order and put on the sex offenders’ register for two–and-a-half years..
According to the judge who sentenced him, he'll work with sex experts to improve his behavior and will also be supervised using the internet.
Judge Diane Baker told the young boy
I know a lot about what has happened in your life and your mum’s life in the past and the difficulties you faced and the confusion you face now about how you wish to lead your life. But what you did was so serious and so damaging to your little sister. She was nine-years-old – she does not understand about those things and you hurt her so seriously that that will last with her for the whole of her life. If you were older, I’m telling you now you would be serving a sentence of detention – that’s like prison. But you were only 11.”
Judge Baker also said that she wanted social services to make sure the boy had access to “male influences in his life”.
She said to him:
“Do you promise me that you’re going to work with everybody and this is not going to happen again? How do you feel about going back to school?”
The boy, who spoke in a quiet, mumbled tone, replied:
“I’m happy to go back to school and make friends.”
The judge added:
“I know it must be tough for you not to see your brothers and sisters but that’s going to have to remain until it’s safe.”
She told him he would have to carry out the intensive referral order or come back to court.
She asked him:
“If you don’t do it, what do you think will happen?” The boy – who had to be told to speak up by the judge – replied: “I don’t know.”
The judge said:
“They will say you will have to go back in front of Judge Baker – and that’s me. I need to know what’s happening with this order and I need to know your behaviour is improving.”
Jodie Leonard, defending counsel, said:
“He is due to start at school again – I asked him how he is getting on. He is working really hard.”

Photo: Frustrated man tries to commit suicide at Mile 2 River

The unidentified man pictured above on the stretcher, tried to commit suicide at the Mile 2 river in Amuwo Odofin area in Lagos state yesterday. The Sun reports that eyewitnesses claim that the man who appears to be in his 40s, had muttered some words in Ibo and then plunged into the river.

The timely intervention of a passing speedboat prevented him from drowning after passengers on the speedboat dived into the river and dragged the man to the riverbank.

One of the eyewitnesses who gave his name as Andy Odiaka, said the victim, who wore native clothes was speaking to himself just before he plunged into the river

“I was there on the bridge where the man was also standing. He was speaking to himself. He said he had no transport fare to move from one place to another. He said his suffering was too much that he could hardly feed. I also heard him saying life was meaningless to him. He mentioned Buhari many times, and the next thing I saw, the man jumped from the bridge into the water. He is an Igbo man because he was speaking the language. I thought he was joking when he said he was tired of everything around him. If not for a speedboat that was passing, he would have died. The boat stopped and the passengers dragged him to the riverbank and they continued their journey. Thereafter, nobody was ready to assist him. People simply looked at him, expressed sympathy and continued their journey. I have to call an emergency number” he said.
Odiaka said men of the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) later came in to rescue the man. When the victim’s pockets were searched for any means identity, only N90 was found on him.

India's Tourism minister advises female tourists: Don't wear skirts or short dresses for your own safety

India’s Tourism minister Mahesh Sharma has spared controversy in the Asian country as he said foreign women travelling to India should not wear short dresses or skirts and should not walk alone at night “for their own safety”,

He also said women should take photographs of plate number of the cars they boarded while in India.
His provocative statements have come at a time when there's a lot of several high-profile gang rapes and attacks on women in the country.
Mahesh Sharma made the comments on Sunday while promoting a welcome kit that will be handed out to tourists when they arrive in India.
He said:
“In that kit they are given dos and don’ts. These are very small things like, they should not venture out alone at night in small places, or wear skirts, and they should click the photo of the vehicle number plate whenever they travel and send it to friends. For their own safety, women foreign tourists should not wear short dresses and skirts, . Indian culture is different from the western. he said”
After receiving a lot of backlash from women online, he denied his comments amounted to a dress code. He later added:
“We have not given any specific instructions regarding what they should wear or not wear. We are asking them to take precaution while going out at night.I am a father of two daughters...I would never tell women what they should wear or not,” Mr Sharma said.
India has amended its laws to broaden the definition of rape to include any form of penetration; it lists out strict punishments not only for rape but also for sexual assault, voyeurism and stalking.
This isn't the first time, however, that Sharma has stoked controversy with his comments on how to ensure the safety of women.
Last year he said Indian women shouldn't go out at night.
"Girls wanting a night out may be all right elsewhere but it is not part of Indian culture,"
