60-year-old woman found dead in Roseland home with 'extensive trauma' to face
A 60-year-old woman was found dead with “extensive trauma” to her face in a Far South Side home Monday night, and her death was being investigated as a homicide, according to Chicago police.
Doris A. Moore, who lived on the 300 block of West 115th Street in the Roseland neighborhood, was pronounced dead shortly before 8:15 p.m. Monday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Moore was found on the floor of the home shortly after 7:30 p.m. Monday, police said. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center of Oak Lawn, where she was pronounced dead.
